Geocache Description:

This cache will take you on a short walking tour around the harbour village of Watchet - showing you some interesting sights at this lovely town. Follow the waypoints to find the answers to six questions, work out the formula, and sign the log to claim your smiley! It takes less than one hour and is family friendly - although Waypoint 6 does require a walk along a narrow footpath with some relatively steep steps.


This cache is suitable for families, but please take the usual care around the harbour walls.

Waypoint 1: The Lighthouse. How many bolts hold the lighthouse down? Answer = A
Waypoint 2: Market House Museum. How many wooden hauling posts are there by the museum door? Answer = B
Waypoint 3: Sign. "Yankee Jack's Cottage" minus "Pack Horse Bridge" = C
Waypoint 4: Boat Museum. Outside, bolted to the wall, is a ship's relic. When was it discovered? 200D Answer = D
Waypoint 5: Railway Warning. What is the first digit of the fine? Answer = E
Waypoint 6: The Clifftop. How many sides does the tower have? Answer = F
Please be aware that there are steep steps on the way to/from Waypoint 6.
