W Parku Angielskim w Połczynie-Zdroju rośnie pomnik przyrody - Sosna Jeffreya Pinus Jeffreyi. Drzewo pochodzi z Ameryki Północnej, gdzie osiąga 45-50 metrów wysokości. W Europie największe drzewa osiągają 35 metrów wysokości. W Polsce występuje rzadko. Sosna Jeffreya w Połczynie - Zdroju ma ok. 29 metrów, ale nie jest to najwyższe drzewo w tej okolicy. Natomiast imponuje wielkością igieł (do 25 cm) i szyszek (do 30 cm).
Sosna Jeffreya (Pinus jeffreyi Balf.) – gatunek drzewa iglastego z rodziny sosnowatych (Pinaceae). Występuje na południowo-zachodnich krańcach Ameryki Północnej, na górskich terenach USA i Meksyku. Jest krewniaczką najpospolitszej z północnoamerykańskich sosen – sosny żółtej. Jej szyszki nasienne osiągają duże rozmiary, dorastają do 35 cm długości.
Park Zdrojowy to obszar ponad 80 ha wpisany do rejestru zabytków. Występuje tu ponad 60 gatunków drzew i krzewów, z których około 7 tysięcy ma ponad 100 lat. Spacerując alejkami zauważyć można wyraźne zróżnicowanie parku. W tzw. części francuskiej park ma regularne kształty z symetrycznie ukształtowanymi trawnikami, dywanami kwiatowymi i trasami pieszymi. Jest to najstarsza część parku, powstała w latach 1836-39. W 1903 roku władze miasta zakupiły pagórkowaty teren wzdłuż łagodnie meandrującej rzeki Wogry, rekreacyjne tereny zielone powiększyły się o Park Krajobrazowy, zwany też Angielskim. Park Angielski w Połczynie-Zdroju rozciąga się aż do Borkowa, ponad dwa kilometry wzdłuż Wogry. Na rzece spiętrzono wodę w dwóch miejscach tworząc stawy - północny Wedlów i południowy Manteufflów. Uroku dodają mosty, altany i ciekawe miejsca do odpoczynku. Połczyńskie lecznictwo uzdrowiskowe, którego historia sięga 320 lat, rozwinęło się na bazie wysokiej jakości surowców naturalnych i mikroklimatu sprzyjającego kuracjom leczniczym. Pierwsze wzmianki o leczniczych właściwościach połczyńskich wód mineralnych pochodzą z 1688 roku i są autorstwa miejscowego pastora Joachima Tittla. W 1705 roku powstał pierwszy dom zdrojowy. Około roku 1857 pracujący w szpitalu miejskim dr Lehman zaczyna do leczenia schorzeń reumatycznych i zwyrodnień stawów stosować borowinę, której właściwości lecznicze już wówczas oceniane były bardzo wysoko.

In the English Park in Połczyn-Zdrój, a natural monument is growing - Pine by Jeffrey Pinus Jeffreyi. The tree originates from North America, where it reaches 45-50 meters in height. In Europe, the largest trees reach 35 meters in height. It is rare in Poland. Jeffrey's pine in Połczyn-Zdrój is about 29 meters high, but it is not the tallest tree in this area. However, it is impressive with the size of needles (up to 25 cm) and cones (up to 30 cm).
Pine Jeffrey (Pinus jeffreyi Balf.) - a species of coniferous tree from the pine family (Pinaceae). Occurs on the south-western edge of North America, in the mountainous areas of the USA and Mexico. She is the relative of the most common of the North American pines - the yellow pine. Its seed cones reach large sizes, they grow up to 35 cm in length.
Historical Spa Park “Zdrojowy”, registered in the Polish register of historical monuments, is situated on over 80 acres wooded. There are over 60 species of trees and shrubs, of which about 7000 are more than 100 years. Walking through the Park we can clearly see different park zones. One of them, known as a French style was built between 1836-1839 and is located in the oldest part of the Park. It has a regular shapes with a symmetrically lawns, flower carpets and many romantic footpaths. Shortly after the French part, the English part was built. This part is much larger with a characteristic hilly terrain and random scattering of green plants. In the western part of the park we can find ponds, open air swimming pool and jogging paths. Połczyn health resort, dates back 320 years. It has developed on a high-quality raw materials and a favorable microclimate, which is conducive for healing cures. The first information regarding the existence and usage of mineral waters in the area was published in 1688 by a local pastor Joachim Tittla. At the beginning of the 18th century, in 1705 the first public spa house was built. At around 1857, Dr. Lehman who has worked in a local hospital, began to treat rheumatic and osteoarthritis using the therapeutic mud, as its healing properties were already known and evaluated very high.

Im Englischen Park in Połczyn-Zdrój wächst ein Naturdenkmal - Pine von Jeffrey Pinus Jeffreyi. Der Baum stammt aus Nordamerika, wo er 45-50 Meter hoch wird. In Europa erreichen die größten Bäume 35 Meter Höhe. Es ist selten in Polen. Jeffreys Kiefer in Połczyn-Zdrój ist etwa 29 Meter hoch, aber es ist nicht der höchste Baum in dieser Gegend. Beeindruckend ist jedoch die Größe von Nadeln (bis 25 cm) und Zapfen (bis 30 cm).
Pine Jeffrey (Pinus jeffreyi Balf.) - eine Nadelbaumart aus der Familie der Kiefern (Pinaceae). Kommt am südwestlichen Rand von Nordamerika, in den bergigen Gebieten der USA und Mexiko vor. Sie ist der Verwandte der am meisten verbreiteten nordamerikanischen Kiefern - der gelben Kiefer. Seine Samenkegel erreichen große Größen, sie werden bis zu 35 cm lang.
Kurpark bildet ein Gebiet über 80 Hektar, das im Register der Denkmäler eingetragen worden ist. Es gibt mehr als 60 Arten von Bäumen und Sträuchern, von denen etwa 7000 sind mehr als 100 Jahre alt. Beim Spaziergang können wir deutliche Unterschiede in den Parks beobachten. Der sogenannte, französische Teil hat regelmäßige Forme von den symmetrisch geformte Rasenflächen bis zu Blumenteppichen und Wanderwegen. Das ist der älteste Teil des Parks, wurde zwischen 1836-1839 erbaut. Kurz danach wurde viel größer englischer Teil mit Hügelstruktur des Geländes und Freigrünstreuung gegründet. Im westlichen Teil des Parks befinden sich die Teiche, Schwimmbad und Trimm-dich-Pfad. Kurort Bad Polzin mit 320-jahriger Geschichte, entwickelt sich auf Basis von hochwertigen Rohstoffen und ein günstiges Mikroklima. Die erste Erwähnung über heilendes Mineralwasser kommen aus dem Jahre 1688 und stammen von einem örtlichen Pfarrer Joachim Pünktchen. Im Jahre 1705 ist das erste Kurhaus entstanden worden. Gegen 1857 wurde Heilmoor zu den Heilbehandlungen der Rheumaentkrankungen und Entartungen von dem Dr. Lehman (Arzt im städtischen Krankenhaus) eingeführt.
