Waikoloa Bowl at the Queens' Gardens
Located on the sunny Kohala Coast, Waikoloa Beach Resort is the home of the Waikoloa Bowl at the Queens’ Gardens. This open air venue composed of a grass amphitheatre sloping gently down to the stage, can hold several thousand spectators and still has room for a beer garden and food kiosks, all set in a beautiful Hawaiian garden.
What could be more idyllic than relaxing on a blanket under a night sky filled with bright stars, swaying palms trees silhouetted against the skyline and music filling the air as some of America’s best talent performs on stage!
The venue has hosted renowned Hawaiian talent such as The Lim Family, Raiatea Helm and Na Leo Pilimehana, to name just a few. Other “Stars under the Stars” include Earth, Wind & Fire (2008), Journey (2009), the Beach Boys (2010), The Temptations (2010) and Chicago (2013). Hula shows and competitions also fill the stage on occasion.
We only wish that more events were held in this wonderful space.
The cache is accessible from the walk. You don't need to enter the flower bed to find it.
Small note on cache maintenance: We are only on the island part time, but a local cacher has agreed to provide cache maintenance when we are not on-island. Thanks!
