Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden at the above coordinates.  However, read on to see what must be done before you can find and log the cache!

There are a few challenge caches in existence in the Eastern Ontario area, with requirements that probably scare off the majority of cachers.  So this one can be easily completed by any cacher – and a new cacher actually has an advantage over someone with 3,000 finds under their belt.

Simply, you must log 27 other caches, before going to log this one in.

What are the rules and conditions, you ask?

1.         You must find 27 different caches that you have never found previously.  Each cache name must start with a different letter of the alphabet as it is posted on GC.com.  So as an example, “The X-Files multi” is a ‘T’ cache, not an ‘X’ one.  The 27th cache will be one that starts with a number or punctuation mark.  If you were to make a bookmark of the ‘qualifying’ caches, the 27th cache would get listed as the first one in the list by GC.com.

2.         The caches must be located within 50km of the posted coordinates.  Not 50.001 km.  For multis and puzzles, either the posted coords or the final cache location must be inside of that 50km circle.

3.         Only caches found on or after the date this challenge cache has been hidden count (see top of cache description page).  This is a few days earlier than the cache publish date, so some cachers might already have half of their alphabet list completed from a good weekend of caching!

4.         You can’t find one of your own caches.

5.         This cache does not count as the ‘G’.  There has to be at least one ‘GAG’ cache out there you haven’t found yet!

6.         Please don't rename caches solely for this challenge.

Don’t read anything more into the rules. IE:

- The 27 ‘qualifying caches’ don’t have to be done all in a row.  Find ‘B’ tomorrow, ‘Z’ next week, and ‘R’ in November for all it matters.

- The caches don’t have to be found in alphabetical order

- There don’t have to be ‘X’ amount found on either side of the border

- There don’t have to be any specific cache types found

- The caches don’t need to have been hidden prior to this challenge being published

When logging this cache:

Premium members will need to create a bookmark list of all 27 caches + this cache (so that it appears on the cache page).  When you log your find on this page, make the bookmark public so it can be viewed.  After I have checked it out, you can hide/delete/remove the bookmark.  For non-premium members, send me a list of the 27 caches  that you are using (or a loc/gpx file if you wish).  You don't need my permission before logging, but remember this:  For the first few finders, expect that a few other cachers will go through all your finds since 10 April 2010, and if there aren't 27.......public humiliation will follow.

The container is a regular sized lock n lock, at a winter-friendly height.  Coords from a good average, +/- 4.5m accuracy. There’s an unactivated geo-nametag GC for the first finder.

Okay – that’s enough of the yada yada.  Get out on the trails and find some caches!
