An impromptu cache hide whilst on holiday on Great Barrier Island.
Medlands Beach is a beautiful beach located within Oruawharo Bay on Great Barrier Island. In the middle of the beach is a small island named Memory Rock.
The cache is located at the top of Memory Rock and is accessible via steps at the front of the rock.
The cache is a black 50ml Deodorant container (so should smell nice!) containing a log sheet only - bring your own pen please.
The GPS co-ordinates may be a bit off due to the trees, but the cache is located near the middle of the rock. Please let us know if you get any better co-ordinates.
Please be careful on the rock with children, as there are high cliffs all the way around it.
The cache is located at the base of a Pohutukawa tree heading towards the centre of the rock. You do not need to get too close to the edge of the rock to locate the cache.
