This location has a good view of the city of Albany. As a kid, my parents brought me to this area to watch Fourth of July fireworks over the Captial.
The cache is now a small container and should be easy to get to. I would recommend keeping an eye on the children as there are steep embankments on the other side of the guardrail.
There is plenty of parking in a lot just west of Route 4 at N42 37.885 W073 42.100. I would start here and walk down the easy grade to the cache. No bushwacking required!! At the cache, you should be out of view of anyone above you. update Aug 2 2013 Apparently there is still some muggle traffic so please rehide well.
I have intended this cache to be done at night, but it it is accessable at any time. If you would, please list the approximate time of the find in your log. This is not a requirement to log, but I would like to know.
