This cache is nearby the southern parking area of the Loew Lake Unit, Kettle Moraine State Forest.
The Loew Lake Unit is a picturesque valley including the winding east branch of the Oconomowoc River and the 23-acre Loew Lake. It is open to low-impact recreation, including hiking, hunting, and horseback riding (no camping).
See a map using the Image icon below. Off road parking is available at N43 11.653 W88 20.220 and the fishing by the nearby bridge on Hy Q is reputed to be fairly good.
This is a small camouflaged cache containing log sheets and room for one or two tiny trade items or Geocoins. For a change up, we tried to make this one an easy find. Bring your own pen/pencil.

I have replaced the container and log.
This is a beautiful spot, with an easy 385 foot walk on a trail from the parking area.
I have many fond memories of fishing near this spot
