Placed as part of a Bridging the Gap power trail between Kumara and Springfield
The Bridging the Gap series was placed to fill the huge gap on our trips from Greymouth to Christchurch.
As the name suggests all caches are on bridge structures. It was started at the first bridge in Kumara instead of Greymouth for those that may be travelling toward Hokitika/Glaciers way.
If you travell the road often why not leave some for the next time your passing, otherwise go for it and try to do as many as you can in one day.
You are looking for a magnetic 50ml silved taped pill container. All the containers are the same so once you have done a few in the series you will know exactly what to expect and where to look so they will become very fast and easy.
We dont mind a copy and paste response but feel free to share your experience and please make sure to mention any that may need some attention as we rely on these to know which of our caches we need to visit.
As a geocacher I hate the excuse "I forgot a pen" and in my opinion it should be no sign no log.
This being said the cache name is written in the logbook at the front and will accept photo logs if the photo includes the name of the cache.
