Marty's Focal Point Traditional Geocache
TeamMCH: This was our first cache hide - and it went through two iterations as the configuration of the building changed.
We are moving out of state, so it is time for us to archive our caches.

This is our first cache hide - now in a new spot since the old one is now under a slab of concrete from the building expansion. You are now looking for an ammo can pretty much in plain sight with plenty of room of swag and trackables. Please do not disturb the landscaping around the cache site.
Those familiar with the theology of Martin Luther will know where to look as soon as they are within sight of ground zero.
I have seen it suggested that a cache should have some meaning behind it - about the owner, the area, an event, etc. A quick look at our profile will reveal why this location is important to us and why it was chosen for our first hide.
This is the second incarnation of this cache as the original location was lost due the building expansion in 2012-13. The cache has totally changed and it is now an ammo can with plenty of room for swag and trackables. Since this is a totally new hide for this cache, if you would like to sign the log again and claim a second find, that is okay by us.
There can be plenty of activity around this location - but the cache is now placed on the quiet side of the building (so we are going to miss watching people searching!). Parking is available due west of the cache within about 100 feet. For those with mobility challenges, you can follow the pavement and then a sidewalk directly to the cache.
There aren't many ammo cans within the city limits, but we wanted to place one here so that we can put out plenty of swag and also have room for trackables. There are separate containers in the ammo can for swag and trackables to help keep things neat and tidy. This will be a great cache to bring the kids or newbies to help them discover the joys of caching. One of the Geocaching mottos is "Take Something, Leave Something" - but we want to keep this a very kid-friendly cache, so we will keep it stocked with some kid-friendly (and perhaps adult-friendly) stuff that you are welcome to take even if you didn't bring anything to trade.
