After reaching the cache area, finding the cache should be fairly easy. The views are spectacular! You can see Bryson City, Ela, Whittier, and Cherokee at an elevation well over 4000 ft.
First off, find yourself a 4WD vehicle or at least a vehicle that has good ground clearance. To get to the cache location, take exit 69 off highway 74 near Bryson City, NC. At the end of the ramp, take a right (if coming from Sylva direction) or left (if coming from Bryson City direction), and then the next immediate right. Then, take the next possible right which is a bridge crossing Hwy 74. After the end of the bridge, take a left. After a couple of miles, take a right on Conley's Creek Rd. Look for Claude Brooks road on your right and turn right. Take this road until you get to the cache. Make sure and stay on the main road (hard to tell at times). You'll know you're in the right place by the cache title. You can also get to the cache location using Sam Dills Rd.(on past Claude Brooks on your right), although it's a lot longer and better to take down from the cache (if you can find it).
