This is our third cache in this area.R.D.Egan Lee reserve is a small bushland area very close to our other two caches. Beware, there could be many muggles on the weekends.
R.D.Egan Lee reserve is a small bushland area cosisting of many native grasses and remnant bush. The reserve was named after a Knox engineer and is also home to the Knox City Soccer Club & Knox Scout group. There is a nice little playground for the littlies to fill in the time.It is also home to the Tawny Frogmouth which if you spend the time you may see hiding on the limb of a tree close to the trunk.The reserve is maintained jointly by the Friends of Egan Lee and the Knox City Council who together have planted many grasses,shrubs & ground cover. The original cache contains, pencil & sharpener,ear plugs, keyring, world congress badge, and a spinning top found near our second cache. Please make sure you cover it well when replacing.
