Yellow Creek Falls

This cache is located near along some waterfalls on Yellow Creek in Robbinsville, NC.  The Falls are not very well known even by the local people, which make them a very secluded place to have a picnic and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around the falls.  There is a "primitive" trail into the falls if you park along US 129 at the parking coords listed below it is only about a 0.2-mile walk to the cache.  The trail is marked with orange flagging tape every so often; however, it is possible to get off the trail so be careful.  The trail is not suited for people with problems climbing, going over or through vegetation.  If you enjoy fishing bring along a pole as their are quite a few holes located along this creek.  If it has been raining you might even see a few kayaks going off of the falls.  Check out this Website http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/id/3928/ it has a little more information about and some cool pics of the falls.  I have rated the difficulty to this one a 4 because of the primitive trail system getting to the cache.

Now for the Cache.  It is an Ammo Can that is well hidden.  GPSr was bouncing around however if you are persistent you should be able to find the Cache.
