Sitting well above Arryl House (or what’s left of it) there are many trails of old. From here hike down to learn of the interesting history and the fate of the “New Clermont” structure.
This cache has been placed as part of the New York State Taconic Region Geocache Challenge.
There are 76 caches hidden within 16 state parks and historic sites in the Taconic Region. Geocachers finding 45 or more will be eligible to receive a 2018 Mills Norrie State Park commemorative and trackable geocoin. Clermont SHS charges a $5 vehicle entrance fee. This fee is collected 4/1-10/31 weekends and holidays, from 11am – 4pm. House tours are available (but not required as part of the geocaching challenge) for $7 adult, $6 seniors / students over 12.
