George School of Law. Mr. Elliott began his practice of law in 1966 in Tifton, Georgia, and, in 1970, he and his partner David Turner began practicing law in Manchester. He was a member of the Georgia Bar Foundation, Georgia Bar Association, Meriwether County Bar Association and the Coweta Circuit Bar Association. Mr. Elliott continued practicing law at the Elliott Law Firm until his death. He was a Director of the Woodbury Banking Company , Director for the Development Authority, City of Manchester, Chairman of the Manchester Railroad Days Festival and Managing Partner of the Orchard Hills Farms in Turner County. Mr. Elliott represented Meriwether County Board of Commissioners, Meriwether County Water and Sewage Authority, Meriwether County Industrial Development Authority, Roosevelt-Warm Springs Development Fund and the Meriwether County Airport Authority. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Manchester where he was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Choir member. It's worth noting at the time this cache was placed and start of this RailQuest series, that the train car is under going a makeover by a local boy scout for his Eagle Scout project and at times there may be some debris nearby, so please use caution

Nearby you'll find the Veteran’s Memorial. This monument constructed from original boiler room doors from the Callaway Mill is an original work of art. It contains a time capsule to be opened in 2059 and its walls are engraved with the names of Meriwether County Veterans.
