This is one of a series of caches around the Valley Gardens in
Harrogate. If you start at the main entrance to the gardens - next
to the *Pump House* virtual cache by dylanhayes (GCBDA5)- then you
can take a circular walk around the gardens, which can be busy on
fine days (and at night - when caching is not recommended).
The Valley Gardens Sun Colonnade is a walkway on the northern edge
of Harrogate's Valley Gardens which offers good views over the
gardens.
The botanical collection of climbing plants has been replanted in
the Colonnades, restoring part of the original concept of these
attractive and sheltered walkways in the Gardens. The Valley
Gardens Sun Colonnade and Sun Pavilion - built in 1933 - was the
home of the Harrogate Spring Flower Show for almost seventy
years.
The original micro (memory card container) has been replaced with a
sliding lid type box. Please ensure it is replaced in the far
corner of the location so that it is not visible.
