Let's take a hike along the Panther Point trail. The hike will be about 2 1/2 miles round trip in length. You don't have to do the hike to attend the event. The hike will take you to a new bridge where water from Lake Hancock drains into the old phosphate pits. You may be able to find a cache along the way. The walk is very scenic with views of Lake Hancock and many birds should also be seen. Also, an alligator or two may be seen on the trail.
This event will be a good opportunity to chat with your fellow cachers. Stop by and say hi! There should be some TB's and geocoins to swap or discover too. Bring any travelers you have been holding on to so they can be moved along.
