This cache is not affected by the Waitakere Ranges Control area Kauri Die back Closure.

Off we went to create a trail.. this seemed like a logical place to start...always got to have one of these in a bush trail!
Parking:Access either via the Upper Nihotapu dam road or the complete loop from the Upper Huia dam track. There is no public access from Huia Road- Huia.
Timing: Access is via a private road only open during Daytime
