Geocache Description:

A cache located near St Peter's Church, Little Comberton, Worcestershire

St Peter's Church, Little Comberton, dates from the 12th century and still retains some Norman features. It is thought to have been built on the site of a Roman temple and there have been archaeological finds from the period in the village. The church sits at the base of the northern side of Bredon HIll and is adjacent to a duck pond and main road so careful with children and animals. When the cache was set the pond was fully covered with green pond weed and did not look inviting so don't bother to bring your swimming costumes.

There are many old houses in the village particularly along Manor Lane which is worth a short stroll if vernacular housing is your thing.

Parking is not easy. This could be done as a cache-and-dash. There is room in Manor Lane outside the church although it is quite close to the junction. The main road is busy and has blind bends so is not advisible.

The cache is a magnetised screwtop tube. You will need a pen and possibly tweezers
