Geocache Description:

I hope you enjoy our Little Quest cache. Click the banner above to read more!

A nice spot on the River Loddon, on a path we'd never trodden before. Whilst placing this cache we saw some very late butterflies, and on the way back to the car watched a stoat darting about on the road before he finally nipped into a field. Essentially, the focal point of this cache is the bridge over the Loddon, but it wasn't the best place for a hide because its a popular place for fishing muggles. It looks like a very busy trout run!

The Loddon is a river in the English counties of Berkshire and Hampshire. A tributary of the Thames, it has a total length of 28 miles (45 km) and, together with its tributaries, drains an area of 1036 km².

Parking is admittedly difficult - we parked as per the additional waypoint, which was as good as it gets. Park up and walk back the road to the farm entrance. The public footpath starts just beside this. Please observe the sign and keep dogs on a lead - there is livestock about. We hope you have as much fun finding this cache as we did hiding it.
