Maps used to refer to this little area of the public land as the “Oradell Playground Project”, however that name appears less and less. The two unusual features are clearly man-made ponds with walkways around them. There is abandoned stadium lighting and spectator seating, couple sheds, and even a sign “Skate at your own risk”. We moved to the area long after this place was abandoned, and we were unable to Google any history of how it was used in the past. If you have photos or any information of it’s more glorious days, please share in your logs!
Today this area is taken over by nature with lots of swamp creatures, deer, and an occasional homo sapiens.
The cache is a regular sized lock-and-lock container stuffed with the toys. It is on the NE side of the park which rarely has any people.
