Dieses älteste Gotteshaus steht im Südosten des Dorfes, in grüner Wiesenlandschaft. Die Kirche wurde von den Grafen von Tschengelsberg Ende des 13. Jh. als ihre Eigenkirche im romanischen Stil erbaut und dann vom Geistlichen aus Tschengls seelsorglich betreut. Der letzte Tschenglsberger starb 1421. In der Kirche werden Johannes der Evangelist und Johannes der Täufer als Schutzpatrone verehrt. Im Laufe der Zeit wurde das Gotteshaus den aktuellen Baustilen angepasst und mit Andachtsbildern bereichert. Besondere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind:

romanische und gotische Fresken
die Empore aus ca. 1600
die barocke Holzdecke und die Kirchenstühle
eine Grabplatte der Grafen von Tschengelsberg
die im vorigen Jahrhundert freigelegten Fresken
zwei Freskenbilder von Karl Plattner (1948)

Questa chiesa antichissima sorge nella parte sud-orientale del paese, in mezzo al verde dei prati. Fu costruita a uso proprio dai conti Tschengelsberg alla fine del 13° secolo in stile romanico; in seguito se ne occuparono i sacerdoti di Tschengels. L’ultimo dei Tschengelsberg morì nel 1421. La chiesa è dedicata a Giovanni Evangelista e Giovanni Battista, adorati come santi protettori. Nel corso degli anni, l’edificio venne rimodernato secondo l’evoluzione stilistica e arricchito di nuove immagini sacre. Sono particolarmente degni di nota:

gli affreschi in stile romanico e gotico
il matroneo del ‘600
il soffitto barocco in legno e i banchi della chiesa
l’epitaffio dei conti Tschengelsberg
gli affreschi (riscoperti nel secolo scorso)
due affreschi di Karl Plattner (1948)

This very early church stands in the south-east part of the village, in the midst of green meadows. The church was built in the Romanesque style by the von Tschengels as their proprietary church at the end of the 13th century; it then benefited from the pastoral care of clerics from Tschengls. The last member of the Tschengls died in 1421. Inside the church John the Evangelist and John the Baptist are revered as patron saints. In the course of time the church was adapted to contemporary architectural styles and enriched with devotional pictures. Particular sights worth seeing are:
