Night Eyes Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

This is a night time only cache. The woods are full of eyes. If you dare follow the eyes with a good flashlight they will lead you to the cache. This spot was chosen so that the terrain was realitively safe to walk through, no bears (that we've seen)or cougars (well not for years) or poison oak (except a small amount near the cache), IF you stay to the main path.

Most of the eyes watching you will be atleast 10 feet above the ground, but two pairs are close to the ground... one 'cause there wasn't a standing tree there, and the other 'cause that's where the cache is. Do watch your step along the way. OH, and who knows, there may be three other pairs watching you too, but those eyes don't glow in the dark :o). The cache at placement contained; a memory match card game, a deck of cards, toy car, sewing kit, watch, Oregon Coast polished rocks, agate worry stone, pen, pencil, log, !st to find cert., AND MGM Travel Bug. This is in a popular park setting often with nighttime activities so be stealthy. The above coordinates are to the well lit parking lot where you will start your adventure. Bring atleast a good 2D flashlite. Don't try this during daylight, doubt you will find your way, and the lights go out at about 11 p.m. Go west (yes, you must go away from the light)... and don't forget to come back to the light when you're done! Coordinates at the cache sight are no help due to tree cover. Credit goes to Geobaby and JFrank from Oregon for this idea.
