This trail begins at an Shikusa orchard and then joins up with a fantastic trail system. You can climb Mount Awa from hear to get some caches or you can link all the way up to Hexmans' Folly and eventually Katsuyama. There are many places for you to explore so please give yourself a few hours of daylight and enjoy the hiking/caching.
And PLEASE don't park by the trailhead. The fruit pickers use that spot. The locals want hikers to be considerate and park at the Katsuyama Community Centre. See waypoint!
More information can be found on Map it Okinawa . The Shikusa here taste much sweeter than normal ones and if your lucky a fruit picker may offer you some.
Oh and please feel free to drop some of your own caches but BE WARNED, there are two puzzle caches on the trails so you may have proximity issues. You have been warned.
