Plans are in the works to build a functional lighthouse where Lake Cadillac and the Clam Lake Canal meet. It will be close to our "The Mystery of the Clam Lake Canal" Earthcache (GC1BJ3R). The lighthouse will be about 25' tall and if all goes well it will be built in 2011. This cache is within walking distance from the new lighthouse. Enjoy and be stealthy during the busy season on the lake. May 2012.....Where is the new lighthouse? I have tried to find out but no one seems to know. It sounds like a great idea so we will keep hoping!! August 2013......Still no lighthouse! Oh well, we have a fun cache anyway! July 2022......no lighthouse in the plans but the cache is still fun!!
