Geocache Description:

www.tourisme-langres.com

Situated in the crossroads of the rivers of the Mouche, the Bonnelle and the Marne, the village, which welcomed formerly a brewery, gives evidence of the importance of the culture of hop in the country of Langres. "Hume-moi-ça", such was the advertising slogan of this former brewery the production of which spread out between 1848 and 1921. Since that time, the activity of the establishment consisted in bottling the beer of Vézelise. Buildings were destroyed in 1984.
The fountain Saint-Vinebault, the place of the hiding place, carries the same name that the church, reconstructed by 1834, and which would have sheltered for a night the body of Saint Helena during its translation of Rome towards Paris in 840.
