Geocache Description:

Here is Monzennakacho, Fukagawa. The town of the human feeling. This cash is Fukagawa, a start of the downtown area excursion.

I am careful, and I ask for the exchange with the same size by all means because I want to always fill toy boxes.

The Fukagawa Tokyo modern hall is sightseeing of Koto-ku opened (2009) on October 1 in 2009 and a base of the culture. Areas having various faces including clearness Shirakawa where culture art institutions such as Monzennakacho full of Tomioka Hachiman shrine, Fukagawa God of Fire, Fukagawa Edo museum or Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art gather, Kameido where the Shinto shrine Buddhist temples such as Kameido Tenjin, the Katori Shinto shrine gather and Toyosu where in late years are lined with an apartment complex and shopping malls gather in Koto-ku. In this museum, I introduce information of such area resources and Koto-ku.

深川東京モダン館は、平成21年（2009）10月1日に開館した江東区の観光と文化の拠点です。江東区は、富岡八幡宮・深川不動尊で賑わう門前仲町、深川江戸資料館や東京都現代美術館などの文化芸術施設が集まる清澄白河、亀戸天神・香取神社などの神社仏閣が集まる亀戸、そして近年集合住宅やショッピングモールが建ち並ぶ豊洲など、さまざまな顔を持つ地域が集まっています。当館では、このような地域資源や江東区の情報を紹介しております。

また、昭和7年（1932）に東京市営の食堂として建築された当館は、平成20年に国登録有形文化財として指定されております。このような歴史にちなんで、当館では江東区の近現代史や食文化に関連した展示や事業も行いますので、まちあるきの情報集めやまちあるき後の一休みにお立ち寄りください。
