We really enjoy hiking and we used to do it before we discovered that there was organized littering all around us. Now that we know we can climb our favourite peaks and find treasure while we do that, life is nearly perfect. We are trying to encourage you to seek out the wonderful views that surround us and gain a new perspective on your abilities to scale a small hill or a moderate mountain.
We don't expect that you will find the highest cache on each and every peak but we also want you to make an effort to get to the highest point and find a close cache. In the end, you should have twenty caches, one from each hill/mountain, to post on your log entry. We would like to see you post it as follows:
GCJW9R - Broom Hill
As well, we would enjoy a picture or two of some of the best views if you feel so inclined. This cache is about the journey to see things from a different perspective and maybe to motivate you to go somewhere you've always wanted to go. Please bring your own pen/pencil.
The Hills/ Mountains that you must get to are as follows:
Horth Hill
Mount Newton
Partridge Hills
Jocelyn Peak
Mount Work
Bear Hill
Lone Tree Hill
Mount Finlayson
Holmes Peak
Mount Stewart
Mill Hill
Mount Douglas
Mount Tolmie
Mount Wells
Mount McDonald
Metchosin Mountain
Babbington Hill
Mount Maguire
Broom Hill and
Old Baldy Mountain (because we like the name)
Once you've accomplished this Challenge, the Sooke Hills and all those tiny treasures await! Please enjoy yourselves, take care and happy caching.
