Mennesket ved Havet, lokalt kaldet De Hvide Mænd, er en 9 m høj skulptur udført i beton af kunstneren Svend Wiig Hansen. Skulpturen blev opført af Esbjerg Kommune og afsløret i oktober 1995 i anledning af byens 100-års jubilæum i 1994. Skulpturen skildrer det rene og ufordærvede menneskes møde med naturen. Skulpturem skulle oprindeligt have været placeret ved Grenen nord for Skagen, men er nu blevet et kendt vartegn for Esbjerg.
Man at the Sea, locally called The White Men, is a 9 m high sculpture made in concrete by the artist Svend Wiig Hansen. The sculpture was built by the Municipality of Esbjerg and revealed in October 1995 on the occasion of the town's 100th anniversary in 1994. The sculpture portrays the encounter of nature with the pure and immortal man. The sculpture was originally supposed to be located at Grenen north of Skagen, but has now become a well-known landmark for Esbjerg
