| Some years ago it was an enjoyable walk along a footpath from
the top of Manorville Road in Apsley,which would take one past
Great Wood and Phasels Wood and come out at Rucklers Lane. With the
considerable development in this area, I somehow lost the footpath
and only recently realised that part of my walk used to be where
the bridge now crosses over the A41T. |

| The footpath continues the other side of the bridge and can be
accessed from Featherbed Lane, emerging finally at Rucklers Lane. A
delightful walk passing Great Wood and Phasels Wood the site of a
Scout and Activity camp. The path can become muddy after
considerable rain. |
There is parking for a car at the beginning of this part of the
path, however ensure you do not block the entrance as it is used by
vehicles to access fields and meadows

| A small cache, plastic container, is hidden along the
footpath. |
