To which patrol is the first world war monument dedicated.

Also to see are German entrenchments and gun emplacements from the second world war.
Note on the hillside the shell holes from the first world war, when huge guns fired at each other over the English Channel/La Manche.
On a fine day the White Cliffs of Dover can be clearly seen.
Looking towards Calais on the hillside is a man made "Lake" using the chalk bored from the seabed when constructing the Channel Tunnel.
Tends to be windy.
