This event will take place inside Government Canyon State Natural Area. The Natural Area has an entrance fee of $6 per person, 13 years old and up. 12 and under is free. Texas Parks and Wildlife Park Pass works for free admission. This event will take place in the exhibit gallery. Come and swap stories, trackables, etc. Find out about GCSNA and the unique challenges of hiding and seeking caches in this area.
You can join us just for the community meeting part, or use this as a starting ground from which to go caching in the Natural Area.
BYOB, no alcohol allowed in the Natural Area. We recommend proper footwear, and lots of water if you intend to cache. Keep in mind, cell reception is limited on the trails. Handheld GPS units will be needed for backcountry caching.
Summit held from 8a-10a, but you can come and go as you like during this time.
