This is a very high muggle area which will add some difficulty. Please try to be discrete when searching and signing. Remember that there are muggles watching from below as well. Due to the proximity to the building and the large tower adjacent, your GPS will likely only get you close before becoming useless. The hint will provide a big help should you choose to use it. You do not need to take anything apart to retrieve the cache. During the day, Monday - Friday, there is short-term free parking on Sixth Ave along the building for those visiting the Registrar of Deeds. Park at your own risk, however, I don't think you'd have any issues if you parked there for the few minutes it takes to retrieve and sign the log. That's where I park when checking on the cache. Original cache lasted about a year and over 240 visits before disappearing. I've since replaced it with a different type of cache that will no longer hold larger TB but should be more durable. Very small TB might fit. This cache was placed with permission from the Nashville Predators and the Bridgestone Arena Public Safety Coordinator. Congrats to Korysan for FTF and getting the Predators ornament.
The Nashville Predators were founded in 1998 and played their first season in 1998 - 99 as an expansion franchise in the NHL. The team has had its ups and downs and was nearly sold and moved to another city in 2007-08. Due to strong support from Nashville hockey fans, new ownership and financial support from several team members, the team has stuck around and it's fan base has grown. During the 2016 - 17 season the team sold out all 41 home games for the first time in it's history and managed to grab the second wild card playoff spot which made them the last seed in the conference. They swept the top-seeded Chicago Blackhawks in four games, a feat never before accomplished in the NHL, and the first time any 8th-seeded North American major league sports team had swept a first seed in a best-of-seven playoff series. The Predators battled through injury and adversity to beat the St. Louis Blues then the Anaheim Ducks to win the Western Conference. They ended up losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the previous year's champions, in the 6th game of the Stanley Cup Finals. During the playoffs, the town of Nashville drew national attention as rabid fans lined the streets and parks to watch and support their team. The Nashville Predators, a team from a non-traditional hockey market, became the darling of the NHL and gained fans from across the globe who all chanted in unison...Let's Go Preds!
