3-happy-campers: Thanks to everyone who was able to come out and chat a bit. We really enjoyed catching up with our friends and like most events, making new ones. Everyone enjoyed the special treats that you guys brought and a special thanks to those who brought folks along who didn't know a lot about geocaching. Hopefully, they have started their geocaching adventure and let's face it, nothing against muggles, but geocachers are typically much happier people :-)
Looking forward to doing it again next year.

Geocache Description:

Part of the fun in geocaching is introducing it to others. Here's your chance to do your part and bring a muggle with you to this event. Our goal is to introduce geocaching to a few muggles and maybe get them started on their fun geo-journey. A prize will be given to the geocacher who brings the most muggles.

The hot days of summer are over and fall is in the air and you know what that means . . . . . the intensity of our hobby ramps up and somebody has gotta be cooking a pot of chili somewhere :-)
Join us at Elsie A. Holmes Nature Park for some fun games, travel bug trading, story sharing, great food and maybe find a few caches in this beautiful nature park. We will be giving away several door prizes during the event. We have reserved the pavilion and we'll have chili and drinks for everyone. We'll also have a table set up for those of you who want to bring a dessert to share with everyone.

If you post a "Will Attend" log, please include how many muggles you hope to bring so we can ensure we have plenty of grub for everyone.
