Mt. Cising - a memory Traditional Geocache

This cache is hidden at the highest point of Taipei, the Mt. Cising with a high of 1120m, directly in the middle of the fantastic Yangmingshan National Park. Just 45 meters away from the main peak you can find the cache that should remind on my 6 month long stay in Taiwan.
From this mountain you can have a wonderful view over Taipei in the south and at good days you can even see Jinshan and the ocean in the northeast. This mountain is a dormant volcano and at some days you can smell the sulfur in the air.
Please be careful, there are often a lot of muggles around and two other caches on that mountain are already gone. The cache size is about 5x12x20cm.
To reach the cache you got to hike a very steep path up to the top. From the Yangmingshan Visitor Center you need around 1.5-2 hours to get up to the top. To the Visitor Center you can go by car or with the line 260 public bus. This bus goes from the Taipei Main Station over the Zhongshan North Road directly into the National Park and it takes just a short walk from the terminal station to the Visitor Center. When you reached the top, after finding the cache and enjoying the view you can take another path to go back. If you take the trail over the Cising Park to the Lengshuikeng Visitor Center you can take a bath in the nearby public Hot Spring to relax. With the line 15 public bus you can go back to a stop of the 260 bus. Or you decide to hunt for another cache, for example the Buffalo Meadows.
