Tämä multikätkö on ensimmäinen kätkösarjastamme, joka on omistettu
Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning-elokuvalle. Kätkösarjan tarkoitus on esitellä elokuvan kuvauspaikkoja Tampereella. Tässä multissa et tarvitse laskutaitoja lainkaan sillä jokaisella välipisteellä on purkki, josta löytyy koordinaatit seuraavalle pisteelle sekä tietoa Star Wreckin kuvauspaikoista. Etenkin ensimmäisen pisteen lähettyvillä on suuri jästivaara, joten olethan varovainen purkkeja noukkiessasi.
Laitathan myös sisällön varovasti takaisin juuri niin kuin se oli, varmistaen että kansi menee kunnolla kiinni.
Olethan erityisen varovainen ensimmäisellä pisteellä sillä alue on hyvin jästiherkkä!
Star Wreck: in the Pirkinning on suomalainen amatöörivoimin tuotettu kokoillan science fiction parodiaelokuva. Se kertoo Keisari Pirkistä – tähtilaivaston komentajasta, joka julistaa itsensä maailman ylivaltiaaksi ja päättää laajentaa valtakuntaansa universumin kaukaisempiinkin kolkkiin. Elokuva parodioi Star Trek ja Babylon 5 tv-sarjoja, jopa aluksien ulkonäköä myöten. Myöhemmin julkaistussa Imperial Editionissa sarjoista tutut alukset on korvattu kokonaan uusilla malleilla.
In the Pirkinningin alkuperäinen versio on ladattavissa elokuvan virallisilta kotisivuilta ilmaiseksi ja tällä hetkellä sitä on ladattu n. 4 miljoonaa kertaa.
In the Pirkinning onkin siis maailmanlaajuisesti yksi katsotuimmista suomalaisista elokuvista.

This multicache is the first one in our series of caches dedicated to a movie called Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning. The purpose of this series is to show people the various filming locations connected to the movie around Tampere. With this cache you don’t need to use your math skills at all: at every waypoint there is a container that contains coordinates to the next waypoint and has also info on the Star Wreck filming locations (both in Finnish and in English). Especially near the first waypoint there are lots of muggles out and about, so be very careful when you are retrieving the container.
Please make sure to put the contents of the container carefully back the way they were and make sure that the lid is properly closed.
Also be extra careful at the first waypoint as the area has a lot of muggles!
Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning is a parody science fiction movie, made and produced by a Finnish amateur crew. It is the story of Emperor Pirk - a star fleet commander who declares himself a global overlord and decides to expand his reign beyond the farthest reaches of the universe. The movie is a parody of the Star Trek and Babylon 5 tv-series, even the ships are replicas. A new Imperial Edition was released on a later date. With the Imperial Edition release, all the space scenes with Star Trek or Babylon 5 ship models were removed and completely remade.
The original version is downloadable for free at the official site and it has been downloaded roughly 4 million times. That makes In the Pirkinning one of the most watched Finnish films worldwide.
