The Monroe County Geocaching series aims to connect residents and visitors to natural areas that have been permanently protected with funds from the County Open Space Bond. The PARC Kids Cache located at Brodhead Falls is one of six Regional Kids Caches focused on one of the key principles of geocaching... if you take something leave something.
Adventurous little ones can enjoy the hunt for this "treasure chest" style cache, filled with small tokens, and may select one item to take home. Participants are encouraged to contribute to the chest, leaving behind a token that is 1-2 inches in size for the next kid to find. Please remember: When replacing cache, hide it as you found it so the next person can enjoy the hunt!
Property Info
This side of the 775-acre Paradise Price Preserve provides access to the only natural waterfall on the Brodhead Creek, just above the confluence with Stony Run. There is a small parking area and small pavilion, but there is the opportunity for catch and release fly-fishing (valid PA fishing license required) on the world class Brodhead Creek.
