Cache In Trash Out at Highway 23 South presented to you by Ohio Geocaching for CITO weekend. There is plenty of parking near the posted coords.
When? 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday the 15th. The plan is to meet at the posted coordinates. The parking lot has plenty of parking. Please arrive promptly, so we can get organized and maximize the work time. When you RSVP, please note how many will be participating, so we can anticipate supplies needed. And if you have never done a highway cleanup no worries, we have a training video for you. Also a reminder that you will need to be 16 or older to be on the side of the highway for cleanup.
Work project? Picking up litter at Highway 23 South.
Souvenir? Yes! Everyone who logs an “Attended” for this CITO Event will receive the 2018 CITO souvenir on their Geocaching.com profile.
What to wear and bring? Long pants, and boots or shoes. Trash grabbers if you have any. Dress to get dirty! Raingear and layers depending on weather. Bring work gloves if you have them. Ohio Geocaching will provide bags, water, grabbers, vest and training video.
Should only take about two - three hours or so, pending on the amount of volunteers we have. We hope that you can make it. It is always a great time and for a good cause and, you may be able to earn a few more smileys while you are here.
