Geocache Description:


Event time: 10 AM until Noon
Where: Along the mangroves from Car park until the bush area.
Meeting point: Car Park near the Bridges.

The Area:

Well it's that time again and I would like to ask as many of you to come and assist us with this clean up.

This is going to be a big one, the Mangroves catch a whole lot of the rubbish that which washes down the drains, gets thrown overboard, and dumped, well you get the picture.

This area is quite a large area and it has grasped a lot of rubbish it will need quite a bit to get picked up. This is going to be an effort and as many hands on as possible would be helpful.

There is unknown types of rubbish, debris and who knows what along the mangrove edge so if you have a good pair of gloves, bring them, otherwise I will have a fair amount of disposable ones to be able to use.

Imagine a country where all New Zealanders care about and actively work to restore, enhance and protect our environment. THAT’S OUR VISION!
