Geocache Description:

This is a small cache located off a trail behind the Newport News Information Center at Newport News City Park. For your safety, DO NOT park on the side of Jefferson Ave (Rt.143). Please park at the information center. Park is open from sun-up to sun-down.

Bring your fishing gear because the rattle fish are in season. Be sure to use the "catch and release" method as we want to make sure that there will be a fish for others to catch. Please release it back where you caught it.

Also make sure you stop by the information center for more info about geocaching in Newport News Park and remember that vehicles are not allowed on the bikeway. This cache has been approved by and registered with the Newport News Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism Registration #0002
