After receiving a book - Connecticut Waterfalls: A Guide by Russell Dunn and Christy Butler, about CT waterfalls, we discovered there was one in our town we never knew about! On the blue trail with some parking nearby, the 40-foot-high falls are also called the Totoket Mountain Falls because the water flows off the Totoket Mountain into Parmalee Brook. A half mile hike in gives you a nice view which might be improved by crossing over the stream and looking up. The blue trail continues uphill towards the cache and another smaller falls. The cache was placed in the winter when all the water was frozen.
