Max Jerome: The cache was still there. Coordinates were spot on. Everything was in great shape and nothing smelled like mold.

HOWEVER, I've decided to take the cache home with me. It's not getting any visitors, and it's a little out of the way for me to maintain on a regular basis.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Park near the provided coordinates (which used to be Stage 1).
Hike on the road the entire way, avoiding all side roads and trails (when in doubt, go left).
You will pass where Stage 2 was along the way: N 42 58.093, W 72 23.130.
You will find the ammo can just past the tower at N 42 57.549, W 72.23.043.
You can be at the cache and back in about 45 minutes.

With Stage 1 and 2 missing, I guess this doesn't make it a multi anymore. Maybe someday I will replace them, but with the amount of logging that seems to have taken place since the cache was originally hidden, it could be a while before I find some safe spots to hide stuff. Take advantage of the situation. :)

The 53-foot tower was operational in 1930. In 2005, this tower went out of service in favor of the recently rebuilt Pack Monadnock tower.
