International Geocaching Day 2018

Come celebrate with other Shenandoah Valley Geocachers!
If you are new to geocaching or have been caching for 18 years, if this will be your first find or you have over 147,000 finds, if you are from the area or just traveling through, this is the event to attend this summer!
Where: Westover Park, Shelter #4
When: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
What: Games, Geocaching stories, Travel bug swapping, Door Prizes, and of course some cache hunting.
Things to bring:
1 - Yourself, geokids, geodogs,
2 - Travel bugs/Geocoins (to trade or for others to discover); other swag that you may want to trade/give away
2 - A GPS of some sort
3 - At least 1 item to give away as a door prize. This could be homemade caches, unactivated TB tags, Camo Duct Tape, whatever!
4 - Water & snacks for yourself for the afternoon.
Schedule of Activities:
1:00 - Arrival, nametags, greeting other geocachers, Geo-bingo
1:30 - explination of geo-games, travel bug exchange, swag swapping, etc
1:30-3:30 - Geo-games, travelbug/geocoin exchange & discovery, swag swapping, stories of adventure, caching in the park, disc golf, etc.
3:30 - Group photo, Awards, Door Prizes, etc
Come for all, come for some, just don't forget to come. Please include a "Will Attend" log to say you are coming and who's going to be joining you.
