L'accés més fàcil és a partir del pàrking del Coll d'Estenalles, pujar un tram de pista, tombar a l'esquerra direcció al Montcau, i en un llom del camí torçar a l'esquerra per passar pel coll entre el Montcau i Els Cortins.
El camí és fàcil però impressiona. Millor no patir de vertigen i dur bon calçat. Temps d'anada 45'.Un cop trobat el catxe, es pot tornar desfent el camí, o bé fer cim, pujar al Montcau per un camí que surt des d'allà mateix, però alerta que hi ha un parell de passos delicats ... res que cap muntanyenc no estigui habituat a fer.
Eng: park the car in Coll d'Estenalles. Follow a pavimented path upwards, then turn left heading Montcau, and in a few minuts turn left again following a small path that goes to the col between Montcau and Els Cortins.
The path is easy but impressive. Don't go if you have vertigo. Use boots. Once in zone 0, you can climb the Montcau but the path is a bit more difficult.
