Täällä Rovaniemen laitakaupungin alueella tapaa monenlaisia eläimiä. Tällä tielläkin voit törmätä mm. Hirviin ja poroihin, sekä poromiehiin jotka mahdollisesti etsivät porojaan tai hirvimiehiin, jotka punaisissa asuissa metsästävät hirviä syksyisin. Hirvilavat on rakennettu helpottamaan hirven metsästystä, korkealta voi havaita hirven helpommin.
Tämä kätkö on Pirttisuvannontien varrella, sinun ei tarvitse, eikä ole toivottavaa kiivetä lavan päälle. Lavan juurella voit kuitenkin havaita hirvi perheen käyskentelemässä.
Jos onni on myötä voit nähdä täällä myös Peikko Pönterin, joka suojelee metsän eläimiä. Siksipä se saattaa säikytellä lavoilla olevia hirvimiehiä. Eräskin lava kaatui, kun hirvimiehillä tuli niin kova hoppu sieltä alas. (Näit sen varmaankin tullessasi).
Kätkössä ei ole kynää, eikä reissaajia tai muutakaan mukaan otettavaa.

Lumitilanteesta riippuen kätkö voi olla löydettävissä myös talvella, tai sitten ei.
