Geocache Description:

This is nearly a drive-up, and you'll be looking for a... well, you know what you'll be looking for.

Dinbat Cacher and frequent companion Mini-Dingbat have missed very few days since they started caching in August of last year. Their consecutive day streak is over 200 days now, and who knows how long they can keep it up?

Over the last several months, Ben and Elly have become our very good friends. We've shared a lot of great adventures, and I have a feeling our best adventures are yet to come.

Ben is a devoted father, a loving husband, a man of great faith, and he's frustratingly smart, as well. Ben has quickly become a valuable member of our local caching community, and he's certainly shown his creative side as a cache hider! The second cache he ever hid, Tough Nuts, is a great multi in Naperville, and you should make a point to check it out!  That cache is what made me realize we were destined to become very good friends. Here's another good thing about Ben - he always wants to help out. Yessir, I can't tell you how many of our caches he's helped maintain. Why, Ben's so helpful that I want to encourage all of you to give me a call the next time you need something done around the house. Grass cutting, a little landscaping, basic plumbing, HVAC maintenance - Ben can just about do it all. Yep, you just give me a call, and I'll get him over there for ya. I'd just have you call him direct, but I don't want to be presumptious and list his phone number without permission.

Now on to the pretty side of the team!  Elly was just 3 years old when she started caching! She's four now, and I can tell you first hand, she's a very good treasure hunter! You'll get an idea of that when you visit this commemorative cache. She loves princesses, Dumbo, daddy, mommy, and grilled cheese sandwiches. For some odd reason, she even like me. When I meet Elly to go caching, I never know if she's going to be the shy, quiet Elly, or the nonstop story telling Elly. Either way, she's just about the cutest four year old you'll ever see!

So, go find this little tribute to a team that is a true asset to the local caching community.

Something else you should know...

This cache, along with several others, has been placed on a 40 acre site owned by Sugar Grove United Methodist Church. Pastor Steve Good has kindly given permission for the placement of these caches. While hunting the caches, please remember that you are a guest on church property, and you should treat this special place with respect. Please do not cache here at night, and only park in the mowed lot east of the entrance. There is a waypoint listed for parking. You may notice a mailbox near the parking lot. There's a log book inside where you can write about your wildlife sightings during your visit.

This is the future site of their new church, and the land is open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to explore the property, which includes a creek, a wooded area, a native prairie, wildlife, a pavilion, park benches and more. There is a prayer path that will basically take you around the perimeter of the property. Along the path, you'll find many interesting places to explore, as well as several geocaches to track down. Family activities such as picnics are encouraged.

Church events are held at this site at various times throughout the summer months. Please be respectful if you visit during these times.
