Geocache Description:

Whether you're a new geocacher or have been at it for awhile, there are various tools available which can improve your caching experience.  In addition to the website and app provided by Geocaching HQ, there are programs such as GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Cachly, Project-GC, Google Maps/Earth, and more.  And what is a "gpx" file?  We will talk about some of these tools and how they canhelp you make your caching outings more efficient and fun, using specific examples.

For this class you will need to already know the basics about geocaching, but no further knowledge or experience is required.  There will be time for you to experiment with help from the instructor, so bring your own device (phone or laptop with wifi) if you'd like.
