Geocache Description:

The cache is near the sacrificial well for Saint Olof. There is a path from the church of Saint Olof, which you can see from the road. The path is marked and easy to walk.
There are some owls flying around at night, but no ghosts as far as we know.

The church of Saint Olof in Hallaröd is one of the oldest churches in Sweden. It was built in the end of 1200th century (1100-talet). There are some additional information about the church in a folder inside the church and also here: (visit link)

The sacrificial well is probably even older than the church. It was used, in honour of Saint Olof to relieve pain and cure sickness. There is a sign with more information at the well. We have also found a very similar well not far away. Another, unexplored, sacificial well or just an old waterhole for the horses? You find the coordinates in the cover of the logbook, but it's only visible when the ground is dry.

North of the cache you can see the the marketstone from the time when there were a marketplace in Hallaröd. Rumours says that it was shut down and moved because of too much drinking and fighting.
