Little bit of a drive, but it's worth it. The country side is awesome, and if you hadn't found the caches in Tamaha it's a perfect time to do so.
The is the the road that takes you to Tamaha. The corner is a three way stop in the middle of no where. But the history where it takes you dates back to the 1830's. It has a mountain of history that has came and gone, but still stands as a quiet little community nestled next to the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. As a kid I remember the catfish fries that had taken place in Tamaha many years ago were amazing. Live music, great food, all the old timers signing on stage. I hope you enjoy the little road trip as much as I did many years ago.
