Geocache Description:

This is in area where they you may need to do some bushwacking depending on the time of the year.

This area is a small public park that is part of the Greenbelt Park system. You can see the dam that was built to control flooding in the area. This area is used widely by locals for fishing, mostly by the older folks. The area is off the regular beaten path and many tend to not know about the small park or have forgotten about its existence.

There is a small parking area available, but no seating or other accommodations are available in this park, except for one lone wooden bench at one of the fishing holes near the entrance. If you would like to stay to fish, there are several shady spots to use. There is a small path that circles around, but the cache is not on this trail. If you are in the mood for a walk, this would be a great path to take. If going during the summer months, take bug spray.

It is not advisable to enter this area after an extensive rain, due to flooding that does occur to most of the park and where the cache is located.

The cache is a small plastic container with room for small items, travel bugs and a log. At time of placement the following items were in the container:
• KY Key chain
• Bee Pin
• Whistle
• American Red Cross Pin
• Misc. Items

This park does border private property, so please be aware of your surroundings. Cache is located in the park and there is no need to cross over any fences and spend time with the cows nearby.
