Geocache Description:

Crawfish Springs Wetlands and Wildlife Demonstration Project

Well someone has stolen this cache.

Due to the record flooding in September '09 a new boardwalk was built. Thankfully the Cache was left intact.

This area was "developed" by the City of Chickamauga, Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and others to safe guard this wetlands. I am placing this cache here in honor of the local Boy Scouts Troop #64. One of the boys is going to create a camping area here for his Eagle Scout project. Please go to the ball fields and follow the new packed gravel walk way to get to the cache. With warm weather you will see all kinds of wildlife in the area. It is a short little walk to the observation deck. I wouldn't go if it had rained that day as there will be mud once you cross the walk bridge. The ammo box has several items for trade and a bag of coins from all over. Lets trade the coins for others just to see what we get.**Gravel path has been paved, thanks Reaper**
